CLASSES

All experience levels are welcome.

I have small classes for a more personalised practice, where you will experience care, compassion and connection, and leave feeling amazing. 

Yoga is NOT a competitive sport, please practice at your own pace to your own body’s abilities, there is no judgement here.

All classes are 60 minutes, please arrive 5-10 minutes before class as the door is locked when the class begins.

Through the practice of stillness (meditation) and movement (asana), you can find a sense of internal peace.

Hi, I am Lauren. I have found yoga to be a place where I can pause, instead of the need to constantly do, I can just be, finding an ok-ness within myself. In yoga, I have discovered clarity, purpose and most importantly presence.

 

In my other role, I work as a creative arts therapist within a mental health setting.

I have a strong belief that we all have the power to heal ourselves, through our own practice to become more self aware, knowing we have choice.

Schedule

Vinyasa

A continual movement flow, more energetic, moving with the flow of the breath. Tailored to suit all levels of ability.

Slow Flow

A slower paced class, holding each posture for longer. Tailored to suit all levels of ability.

Yin Yoga

A relaxed class where postures are held for 3-5 minutes mainly on the floor, working to open the meridian lines and channels of energy, the muscles are relaxed and the connective tissues can be lengthened. For everyone

Meditation and Yoga Nidra

A guided seated meditation followed by Yoga Nidra where you lie down and your body can relax, but maintaining awareness in your mind.

The First Class

  • Booking is a must as we have small classes
  • Please bring your own yoga mat
  • Please bring along a water bottle and a towel, if needed
  • Bolsters and blocks are provided
  • Please arrive 15 minutes before class to advise the teacher of any physical restrictions or injuries you may have
  • If you have never done yoga before perhaps try a Yin or a Slow flow class to begin and then move to a vinyasa class when you feel ready
  • Please make sure your phone is turned off and left in the pigeon holes
  • Safety comes first never do anything that you do not feel comfortable doing, only ever go to your comfortable edge in poses and check in with the teacher if you have questions
